Tour de M22

One of my friends from Grand Rapids got to visit me on Saturday. Basically we traveled through all of Leelanau County in one night. I like to call it the "Tour de M22". We visited Leland, Fishtown, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Suttons Bay.

Lately due to the warm weather (okay, maybe warm is an understatement, try muggy, hot, and miserable!) my hometown has had a ton of thunderstorms. I've been getting into photography a lot this summer, and I decided to capture the storm before it hit. I was inspired after seeing this photo on M22's Facebook page:

Our flight is cancelled?

I'm officially back in the United States! It feels so good being at home. I love Malawi with all my heart and plan on visiting again. There is so much to tell, and I'm not sure words can even describe it! I will try my best, but for what it's worth, traveling abroad was one of the best decisions of my life.

It's warmer in Michigan than Florida????

It's only the second day of Spring, but it feels like the middle of summer. Not sure why exactly we have this heat wave, but it's quite nice compared to getting 2 feet of snow a few weeks ago. It just proves how bipolar Michigan's weather can be.
