It's already the last day of Orientation!?!?!?!? Wow, time sure does fly. I'm going to miss seeing these guys everyday. But hey, it is Aquinas, so I'll run into them eventually.

Day 2 of training. I'm use to getting up early, and I don't mind it now. But I never realized how much of a difference it is waking up for work at 8:00 am compared to waking up for class at 8:00 am. Let me just say right now that our Director of Campus Life, Heather Hall, is phenomenal. No matter what, she has you covered.

At summer's end: to new beginnings

It has been exactly 3 months since I've returned from Africa, and now that Orientation training has officially started, it's safe to say my summer is officially over. A lot can happen in 3 months, which became very evident this summer.

There have been a lot of ads recently about the dangers of texting while driving. Well, first off, this is not only stupid/dangerous, but people really shouldn't be doing this in the first place.

 I have some exciting news! I will be a contributor for be.loved blog! This blog is for women who love Jesus and share how they're inspired by him everyday. I'm excited to share with you my posts and be a contributor to this blog. It's currently under renovations, but it will re-launch on August 21st, so mark your calendars. It's great being back in Grand Rapids! Although I'm still not completely settled into my new house, it's amazing how much progress I've made so far. Oh the things you can do when you don't have the Internet to distract you....

It's been exactly one week since I've been unemployed, and I've never been happier! In addition to having my brother visit and being done with summer school, I'm getting ready to move to Grand Rapids for the school year.
